Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word for universal Life Force Energy. It is a holistic hands-on approach to well-being, an energy form that supports our natural ability to heal. It is non intrusive and has calming effects on the person receiving it…it can enhance pain relief, reduce stress, promote deep relaxation and inner peace. Reiki is used at the Life Center to complement other modalities. We lead monthly Reiki Healing Circles the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm, including meditation; we offer individual half hour and full hour Reiki sessions; we teach Reiki 1, Reiki 2, Advanced Reiki, and Master level.

Yoga

Yoga is one of the most ancient ways to attain a degree of control over the body and the mind. It teaches mastery of the body, control of the breath, and the ability to concentrate. It enhances self-understanding, and is therapeutic for emotional problems or poor health.

Qigong

Qigong (pronounced chi kung) is an ancient Chinese self-healing art designed to move energy internally through the body. Qi literally means energy. Qigong is a moving meditation with slow and gentle movements. It cultivates energy to unite mind, body and spirit, allowing an inner awareness to develop.
