Welcome to the Life Center

The Life Center in Huntington, Long Island, NY was founded by co-directors Kay and Barbara Posillico, a mother and daughter team with over 25 years of experience as psychotherapists. They recognized people’s strong need for stability in their lives, ways to overcome depression, deal with life’s transitions, conquer substance abuse, handle marital problems, anxiety, depression, illness, etc. To better serve the community, they established a unique counseling center which combines therapeutic and educational healthcare services.

Daily life is bombarded by a multitude of societal stressors which negatively impact personal growth, self-esteem and inner peace. Families are particularly vulnerable and overwhelmed, and need to regain healthy bonding, effective communication and balance. The mission of Life Center Counseling & Health Services is to provide a safe and caring environment where people can recognize their strengths and take an active role in creating positive changes for their emotional and physical well-being.
